This watchful being is the second in a series of “Legend” drawings. This drawing was inspired by a rock drawing on a sacred panel in central Wyoming. The site has been used as a vision quest site for thousands of years , and the numinesence of the site is palpable.
The drawing is with India and Artist inks on handmade acid free archival cotton paper made by the artist cast in the shape of the image . Notice the deckled edge surrounding the entire image. The background paper is also handmade by the artist. This is a version of an image in Ms Graden's larger award winning drawing “Underworld Guides.”
