This watchful being is the third in a series of “Legend” drawings. This drawing was inspired by a rock drawing on a sacred panel in central Wyoming. The site has been used as a vision quest site for thousands of years , and the numinesence of the site is palpable.
The drawing is with India , Artist inks, colored pencils and watercolor on handmade acid free archival cotton paper made by the artist cast in the shape of the image . Notice the deckled edge surrounding the entire image. The background paper is also handmade by the artist. This is a version of an image in Ms Graden's larger award winning drawing “Underworld Guides.”
