Robin is a passionate artist specializing in oil painting portraiture, landscapes and still life.
Robin graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. While studying the fine arts, she developed skills in composition, lighting and various art media.

Since her graduation, she has built a career in retail advertising and marketing - working at first for Kmart Headquarters in the Detroit area, then with Fred Meyer stores in Portland, Oregon and now in Chicagoland as the Director of Creative Services for True Value Company.

Robin also received a MBA in 2010 from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and is involved with the North American Association of Professional Women (NAPW) holding the position of VP of Marketing and PR for the Chicago Local Chapter of which there are over 450 active members.

More recently, Robin has been devoting more time and energy on her true passion – fine art. Robin’s focus has been on everyday genre including landscapes, still-life and portraiture that tells a story. Her style is a blend of realism and impressionism – painterly brushwork, cognitive of where light is playing upon the subject matter and its changing qualities.

Robin continues to explore her skills and techniques - utilizing more vivid color and becoming more confident in her compositions and brushstrokes. Robin looks forward to many more years of exploring the arts, refining her skills and inspiring others to tell their stories and passions through various mediums.
