I am a self-taught painter. There are both, negative and positive sides of this. But I have always enjoyed the freedom during the process of painting, which I know; I could not have done otherwise.
Right from the beginning, I have tried to travel to known to unknown areas in my mind, which follow in my paintings.
To be more precise, I may state that, first I was trying to draw things as they looked, but now I try to draw them as I see them or rather I feel them, it is a window or a sun, or a still life or a human or animal form.
Rather than picking up or selecting a subject and doing a series of painting on that subject, I would prefer different images for different paintings.
