People talk about hours spent sleeping or watching TV in a lifetime, but I wonder how many hours do we spend on the road? My inspiration is the road and highways. I find the vistas of sky and road, framed by a car window compelling compositions that make beautiful, modern landscapes. Concrete and asphalt are stunning and mesmerizing to me.
