My series, Acephale (headless god), came by how individuals and societies project themselves onto abstract forms. We use nature to reflect, relax, and withdraw; ultimately "finding" ourselves within it. Acephale’s commanding presence, inspired by features such as mountains, forests and caves, invites viewers to contemplation and meditation.
Matron’s composition comes from combined images of earthly seated queens and powerful rising goddesses.
