Inspired by the ever-shifting patterns and colors of the kaleidoscope, these paintings explore dance forms native to Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. A soulful expression of our deepest feelings and desires, dancing - when supported by the strong pillars of music and color - create an ambiance that is highly irresistible and deeply human.
One of the oldest known forms of dance in the Middle East and North Africa, the traditional dance form (now known as "Belly Dancing") was performed during festive occasions and social gatherings. A perfect embodiment of balance, grace and strength, the dance form evokes feelings of absolute joy and freedom.
