The artist of this painting titled "Float" was paralyzed from the chest down when she was 20 years old, and through years of practice, has taught herself to paint by holding the brushes in her mouth. The piece was inspired by her yearning to recall the feeling of weightlessness. The delicate balance between gravity and the buoyant nature of our body in water... to float.
