The inspiration for this drawing is a prehistoric rock art panel I saw in Wyoming. Early hunter-gatherers were rough, rugged, strong survivors of all the natural elements and often lived in cold and arid climates. But we must not forget that they were human and appreciated the intricate beauty of art and dance. This drawing is a depiction of a sublime delicate dance, with images frolicking and celebrating the joys of life.
