Gary has been a working artist for 30 years in painting and drawing, photography and woodworking. He has been a college studio art educator for 20 years at the College of DuPage, Joliet Junior College and Wabaunsee Community College. His artistic appreciation is for a wide variety of mediums and art forms; from painting and sculpture, to ceramics and metalwork, to installation art, guides his analysis and interpretive assessments in judging work. He enjoys looking at artwork in all contexts, and talking about his impressions of it.
