"Gas can Gold", is a reference to a science film which shows a chimpanzee beating on a gas can. The noise intimidates the other chimps. This gives him a high rank without being the largest. The excavator in my piece is noisy. This compares the operator to the chimp.

Science shows that people can have chimp like traits.
