This paired series is contrived in aesthetic details based on disease, and devised with mechanisms to make them a wearable commodity. My work is engrossed in psychological medicine; Munchausen Syndrome is the act of creating fictitious symptoms to gain medical attention that would satisfy a person’s emotional needs. This supports the idea that commercial medicine can guide a person to desire symptoms, thus feel required to be treated medically, similarly to those with Munchausen Syndrome.
