How do two bodies engage in a dialogue? I am interested in how bodies navigate the space in relation to one and other on both consciously and subconsciously. Will they meld or retain their identities? Will they assume a dichotomist relationship? Will they engage in a struggle to dominate the space? I explore these concepts in my paintings where compression of animal and human forms results in an ambiguous space where these forms aggregate and decay.
