The images painted in this book all deal with my personal memories and dreams, and the way in which they interrupt and interact with my daily life. Wine was used to paint the images, giving the ink a faded quality as well as a pleasant floral scent when held up to the viewer’s face. All of the implications of this medium are also intentional, calling into question the influence of alcohol on these memories and dreams.
