This delightful little creature is the spirit that brings childlike innocence to those who view it. It reminds us that we can still see the world through “new” eyes, where the world is full of beauty and abundance and magic.
The drawing is with India inks and colored pencils on handmade acid free archival cotton paper made by the artist. The white and yellow swirls were embedded into the making of the paper in the studio. A version of this image can be seen in Ms Graden's larger “Companion” drawing.
