"Themed". As always I’ve tried to capture a sense of balance in my work. Using the space and color (or lack of) to play with each other. Trying to capture everyday feelings of the ordinary is a goal of mine. I travel often, my last trip being in Guangzhou, China where I had a small gallery showing.
It occurred to me that whenever I travel far I always feel more comfortable even though there is a large language barrier. I think this is because it levels the playing field for me because I am not very good at expressing thru language things that I would like to share. My latest works revolve around this concept.
