How did this make me feel once it was done? I'm not a poet. The intention behind this painting was to relate the skies to the ground. There are so many flowers. Where do they come from? What's up above correlates. Yet, we only pay attention to what we can see. There's more to it. And that's the beauty. I only paint flowers. This was a challenging painting as it does not depict a flower. Yet, the beginning of one perhaps. How does the Moon, the Sun and the Earth interact to piece together such infinite beauty? This painting also appears in the acclaimed short film "The Stranger" debuting at the CIMM festival, April 20th 2013.
